PICTURE EXCLUSIVE: England's Lionesses ready to roar
- Sportsmail's ANDY HOOPER has released a stunning picture set of England Women's team ahead of Euro 2017
- Our award-winning photographer spent two years trying to organise the photo shoot for the tournamentÂ
- Lionesses finished third at 2015 World Cup but European Championship finals offer another chance of gloryÂ
- Mark Sampson's side launch their campaign with a group game against Scotland in Utrecht on WednesdayÂ
We first had the idea to photograph England's Lionesses after seeing them on Wimbledon's Centre Court in 2015, when they returned from the World Cup.Â
We finally got to photograph them last week at St George's Park, where they posed for us on the indoor pitch as they prepare for the Euros in Holland, where they open their campaign against Scotland on Wednesday.Â
So it's taken hundreds of emails and two years to organise! They all enjoyed the chance to dress up and it was their idea to be photographed in the elegant black dresses. Â
