Louise Van Der Velde says 'sex parties stop cheating'
People who have been unfaithful often cite a dying spark in their relationship as a reason to cheat.Â
Now one relationship guru has revealed a revolutionary - and rather shocking - solution to preventing infidelity when the passion has fizzled out.
Louise Van Der Velde, 43, from Yorkshire believes that experimenting with open relationships, threesomes and kinky sex parties is the secret to long lasting relationships.
The sexpert, who currently has two lovers, is hosting seminars this weekend that will encourage both couples and singles to speak openly about their fantasies and what they want from sex.
Attendees will then move on to a raunchy party that involves sex shows, group sex and a dominatrix room where partygoe rs can get tied up.
Louise Va De Velde, 43, has claimed the secret to a happy marriage is open sex
Louise said:Â 'We've been sold this whole lie from thousands of years ago that you're expected to be faithful and be with one person.Â
'What we're finding is that people try that and we get brainwashed with the model when we're young with fairy tales and Disney movies, then they get married and try it and it's failing.'Â
Arguing that 60 per cent of couples will experience cheating in their marriages, the relationship counsellor believes that infidelity would go down if people opened up sex in their marriages to other people.
'Your partner will never cheat on your marriage if you come to the seminar and you got to these [sex] parties. I can guarantee that the statistics of cheating will go right down because there's nothing to cheat on ,' she said.

Louise added: 'What's extreme in society is people lying and cheating on each other, people having affairs and sneaking around, deceiving each other in couples.Â
'I think what is absolutely acceptable is sharing your fantasies and accepting what they are.'Â
The seminars involve Louise speaking to people about their fantasies and teaching them about what she calls 'the new model' of relationships.
The model means people can remain in relationships but still have sex and relationships with other people, as long as they are open about it.Â

The mum believes jealousy won't be a problem because couples have communicated all of their feelings and desires in the seminars and are experiencing the sex parties with their partner present, not going behind the back and covering it up.
Louise, who has made numerous appearances on ITV's This Morning and says she has landed a show in the US, said no one goes to the sex parties unless they're not ready.
She said: 'Rather than be some sort of sleazy sex party, we have people who are empowered, they're bringing the best version of themselves, they're bringing their partner so there's no jealousy. It's not like they're walking into a sex party straight off the cuff they're totally prepared for it.Â
The sexpert believes that in five years everyone will be non-monogamous and it will be normalÂ
'They come in and there's a soirée; we have oysters and champagne with a DJ playing. It's like a normal dance party downstairs.Â
'Then we have these four themed rooms, there's a striptease room, there's a sex show beforehand to really start getting them in the mood, they've got the option for massages.
'Then the rooms get more intense where we have couples in a room having sex. Then they have a dominatrix room where they can get tied up and step into a role play.'Â
Louise thinks monogamy is outdated
Despite her philosophy's seeming controversial, Louise, who says she has two lovers, believes that a non-monogamous lifestyle will become the norm in the next five years.
'If we'd have talked about gay people getting married 30 years ago there would be judgement around that, but now people would be upset if someone said they shouldn't be able to get married,' she explained.
'We're changing our mind-set as far as sexuality goes and I believe that in the next five years everybody's gonna be doing this.Â
'80% of the population will be embracing this model where they can have fun and master their emotions.'Â
