Conor McGregor calls Floyd Mayweather a stupid baldy t***

Conor McGregor brought the promotional tour for his fight with Floyd Mayweather to a close on Friday night by accusing the five-division world champion of wearing high heels throughout before describing his opponent as a 'stupid baldy t***'.

The Irishman, who benefited from the support of 5,000 travelling Irish fans in the SSE Arena, said Mayweather had used high-heeled shoes to boost his 5ft 8in frame in both Toronto and New York City on previous legs of the tour.

Reacting to Mayweather taking a selfie, McGregor said: 'Mate, you're 40. Get that f****** phone out of your hand like you're a kid. He was wearing high heels yesterday. Check the picture from yesterday and check it from the day before, proper high heels that b**** was wearing. You should have wore them on the first day you stupid baldy t***.'

Mayweather was quick to throw insults at his opponent in response and called McGregor a 'f*****', accused Dana White of pimping out McGregor to increase his own wealth and revealing the diamond-encrusted watch he was wearing was worth over one million dollars.

He said: 'Dana - me and you got the most money. Keep pimping this b****. Twenty-one years ago, me and you had a game plan. We're the smart ones. We were going to take these foreign fighters and we were going to use them. We are some smart Americans and you're out here with a quitter but I forgot: you're the pimp and this is your h**.'

'You're a microwave meal with a cheap-ass watch on - step your game up.'

Pointing to his watch, Mayweath er finished: '$1.4million, b*****!'

Their time on the microphone came on the back of a race row between the pair after Mayweather branded McGregor 'totally disrespectful' for appeared to refer to black people as monkeys.

McGregor was speaking in New York after the third leg of the tour on Thursday and when asked who would win between him and Rocky III, said: 'Rocky III, that's the one where he had that celebrity gym isn't it? With the dancing monkeys in the gym and all.'

There were more questions to answer in London and they took them from the amassed media with three of the four allotted questions going to the Irishman, who was asked whether the Irish fans could have any influence on the result in Las Vegas.

He said: 'My home country is very dear to my heart. Everyone around the world knows about the Irish fans. Floyd has never fought an Irish man before - he's never experienced this but in the ring he will feel it. It's a different animal when the Irish are in town.'

The 29-year-old was also asked how he deals with being the underdog, to which he replied: 'I do what I do. I am going to sleep this man inside of four rounds. The same way I sleep them every other time.'

The UFC star was first into the SSE Arena in Wembley and he strutted his stuff around the boxing ring, which is in place for Saturday's fight between Chris Eubank Jnr and Arthur Abraham. It was used to good effect by the Irishman, who was back in a three-piece suit after appearing in nothing but shorts in New York.

Mayweather made him wait longer than necessary, choosing to walk into the centre of the arena as slowly as possible as he flashed his extraordinary wealth by sporting diamond encrusted jewelry. But McGregor was undeterred and continued his own peacock-esque display in the centre of the ring before they eventually came together and immediately faced up to one another.

It was the fourth time in four days that the rivals had met follow ing a world tour that started in Los Angeles before moving onto Toronto and New York City before flying across the Atlantic. Once again, McGregor benefited from a crowd that clearly favoured him over the undefeated boxer, who was booed by the London crowd.

Dana White, the president of UFC, earlier claimed that the promotional tour and trash talk had been just as important as the fight itself and suggested that Mayweather had not only met his physical match for the first time in McGregor but his verbal match, too.

He told ITV: 'What's going on here is just as much a part of the fight as the fight itself. The mental warfare game, these are two of the best to ever do it. Floyd is yet to meet his match physically or verbally until now. What this has been about is trying to get in each other's heads.

White, who is worth an estimated £380million, then claimed that Mayweather will have a problem with McGregor's south-paw stance and reiterated his bel ief that McGregor will get a chance to land a left jab on his opponent at some point in the match.

He continued: 'If there is a kink in [Mayweather's] armour it's that he has trouble with southpaws. Conor McGregor is a southpaw and he hits like a truck. If people think Conor McGregor won't hit him once in a 12-round fight, those people are crazy. When he hits you he hurts you and when he hurts you he puts you away.'

Mayweather also talked up the chances of his opponent when speaking to ITV, dismissing the idea that he will easily claim the 50th win of his incredible career. The five-division world champion gave several reasons why he could have problems against McGregor, including the fact that he has not stepped in the ring in two years.

Asked why the fight is closer than some pundits think, the 40-year-old said: 'I am a lot older than him. Conor McGregor is in his 20s. I'm in my 40s. He has a longer reach, he's taller and also he's active and I am inactive and that plays a major key.'
