Bangarra: Indigenous Australian dance company tells the conflicted story of Bennelong â€" video | Stage
Bangarra’s newest work is inspired by the life of Woollarawarre Bennelong, one of the most famous Aboriginal figures from the time of first contact. Bennelong was a senior man of the Eora nation, who was captured by British colonialists, becoming an interlocutor between the cultures and travelling to England in 1792.
