Vigilante âdobberâ outs selfish parking bandits
- A Manchester native is getting his own back on parking bandits around the UK
- The 'Double Yellow Dobber' posts pictures of offending drivers to Twitter
- He hates people who park in bus stops or in disabled spots without a badge Â
- His goal is: 'Keeping the streets safe from parking criminals by public shaming'
Bad parking is enough to drive even the most composed road users to distraction.
So drivers everywhere will be delighted to learn that one man is taking it upon himself to put an end to the practice by shaming bad parkers on social media.
The Manchester-based vigilante, who dubs himself the 'Double Yellow Dobber' on Twitter, states his purpose is to 'keep the streets safe from parking criminals'.
Phone in hand, he travels the streets in search of the worst parking offenders, snapping pictures of their mistakes and sharing them online. He usually targets parking bandits in Manchester but has also caught out drivers from arou nd the UK.Â
The parking violations that appear to infuriate him most are vans or expensive cars left parked in disabled spaces, parking on double yellow lines, and pulling up in spaces clearly marked 'not for car parking' - including bus stops.
Here, FEMAIL rounds up some of the dobber's worst offenders...Â
