Couples read texts from their lovers' former flames
Most people will do just about anything to avoid talking about their exes with their partners, but a group of couples have bravely allowed their current lovers to read the intimate messages they once exchanged with their old flames.
In Cut.com's latest video, six couples exchange cellphones with their partners, so they can see how they used to conversed with their former lovers. Unsurprisingly, the variety of exchanges range from slightly embarrassing to downright bizarre. Â
'I'm getting in the shower. If your teleport device worked, you could join me,' one man reads out loud before reminding his wife that she responded by saying, 'I'm so naked' and using a 'wink face' emoji.Â

Going for it:Â Six brave couples exchange cellphones with their partners, so they can see how they used to converse with their former lovers
Make it stop: This guy was mortified when his wife read a message from a woman who worried she went 'too far' with all the kissing the last time they were togetherÂ
'Oh, I'm so sorry mom and dad,' she says as she cringes in front of the camera.Â
Only a few of the couples admit to frequently talking about their exes, and one guy notes that he doesn't think there is much to talk about.Â
One married woman confesses that she wishes they chatted about it more, noting: 'I would have them all over for like a dinner party if it was up to me.'
However, one lesbian couple says they always talk about their exes as one of them explains that they do because she is 'kind of petty'.
Seriously? However, he was freaked out when he learned her ex called her 'my little girl' and told her to 'play nice' at recessÂ
Not ready: This woman was panicked when she realized she would give her partner her cellphone to scroll throughÂ
Although they were undoubtedly warned that they would be sharing their messages, some participants have mild panic attacks when they realize they have to hand over their phones - and everything on them - to their partners.Â
'No! I was going to select it,' one woman says as she furiously fans her hand in front of her.Â
She warns her partner that she loves him before he starts reading, and he jokes that the guy is a 'handsome dude' - but confidently notes that he is not as handsome as he is. Â
Another woman can't resist bursting into laughter when her girlfriend reads the message: 'Hope you made it into work and aren't too exhausted.'Â
Yikes: This man looked pretty sheepish when his partner found a message in which he told his ex her 'boobs look good in a bikini'Â
Umm... She also asked the context of another message in which her partner wrote: 'You're a b***h. I'd pound that s**t into the ground'
And she wasn't the only one who was amused.Â
One wife also finds herself laughing after reciting a message from her husband's ex, who was worried she went 'too far' with the kissing the last time they were together.Â
However, another woman finds herself getting very worked up while reading the messages her girlfriend had exchanged with her then-lover.Â
'She said, "I still love you. I never wanted to forget something so badly. I wish I could,' she reads. 'Then f*****g hours later says, "Good morning" and Tenille responds, "Good morning. How are you?" like nothing ever happened.'Â
Amused: Another woman can't resist bursting into laughter when her girlfriend reads the message: 'Hope you made it into work and aren't too exhausted'Â
Just wondering: The woman woman also questions why her girlfriend has pictures of 'butts' on her phone and asks whose they areÂ
She later reveals that her girlfriend called her ex 'babe' just three days after her birthday, and she finds herself getting furious.Â
'I can't read these. I'm like really p****d. This is a really sensitive ex, and I thought they had killed it,' she says of their continuous communication.Â
Some of the messages were a bit vulgar, and one guy looks pretty sheepish when his partner read a cheeky message he had written. Â
'Just popping in to say you took a picture the other day, and your bikini made your boobs look good,' she reads out loud with disgust.Â
Not happy: One woman got visibly angry while scrolling through her girlfriend's messages to her ex because she realized they were still chattingÂ
In trouble:Â 'I can't read these. I'm like really p****d. This is a really sensitive ex, and I thought they had killed it,' she said of their continuous communication
She also asks the context of another message in which her partner wrote: 'You're a b***h. I'd pound that s**t into the ground.'Â
One guy wants to know how many times his partner slept with her ex, but she counters by asking him the same question.Â
Meanwhile, another person finds pictures of 'butts' on her girlfriend's phone, and she can't resist asking who they belong to.Â
But the weirdest exchange may be between one woman and her ex - who called her 'my little girl'.
'That's very weird,' her husband notes before reading the rest of the message, which says: 'It's your first day of school, and I just want to say play nice when you're at recess.'
'This is f*****g weird!' he says.
