Cyclist hits car in background of horse-riding video
A sports science graduate accidentally captured the moment a cyclist ploughed into the back of a car in the background of her video of her friend riding a horse.
The footage, which Chloe Richardson from Richmond, North Yorkshire, posted on Facebook last Thursday, has had more than 470,000 views and 3,600 shares.
In the short clip, a female rider can be seen cantering across a field on the back of a large, brown horse.
As Miss Richardson, who recently graduated from Durham University, panned left to follow the direction the horse was travelling, a red car can be seen to pull up on a road running behind the back of the field.
The car had reportedly come to a stop to give way before crossing a narrow bridge.
A cyclist who had been riding behind the car did not brake fast enough and hurtled into the back of the vehicle with a loud clunking noise.
The rider, wearing a high visibility jacket, teetered on the machine for a moment before toppling to the ground.

Few of the video's 1,700 commenters have any sympathy for the cyclist.
William Uglow said: 'Something so funny about this, maybe buying disc breaks instead of that florescent clothing would of (sic) been better.'
Ian Creighton added: 'Could watch this a million times, just keeps getting funnier... Turn the volume up for the face plant.'

While other viewers needed to watch the clip a few times before they realised what was going on.Â
Jenna Giesler said: 'I missed it the first time 'cause I was waiting for the horse to do something!'
It is not known what injuries the cyclist sustained in the crash.
