Do you go naked in the changing room?

When it comes to getting changed in a crowded locker room, some people would rather retire to a cubicle or use a towel to protect their modesty. 

But others are more than happy to let it all hang out, and now a woman has provoked a furious debate over public nudity after an embarrassing incident on a spa day.  

A woman took to Mumsnet to explain how a naked woman with 'full bush and boobs out' had spent five minutes getting in her way, leaving her feeling very awkward as she tried to change under her towel.

'It was like she was just parading in my face,' she explained. 'I have no issue with nakedness, but don't just stand around making me feel awkward.'

While some posters sympathised with her predicament, the vast majority seemed to think she was being far too prudish with one even suggesting she should seek professional help for her issues.

A Mumsnet user explained that a naked woman in a changing room at a spa had made her feel awkward by invading her personal space

A 70-year-old woman commented that everyone had got over such prudish feelings back in 1950, while another said it was unreasonable to expect the woman to hide under the towel to save other people's feelings. 

One even suggested that the woman clearly has  'issues with the human body' and said that her head must be in a 'strange place'.

However, several people stood up for her pointing out that she wasn't offended by the lack of clothing, but the fact that the naked woman got too close to her and invaded her personal space. 

And another supporter added: 'I don't want anyone's bits in my face, or their droopy boobs.' 

One poster suggested the woman seek professional help for her issues with the human body

A woman said that it's unreasonable to expect someone to hide under a towel just because someone else has issues with nakedness 

One commenter suggested the simple solution is not to look if you're going to be offended 

A 70-year-old woman said that such prudishness had died out in the 1950s 

Several commenters said that they too are happy to stand around naked while chatting to their friends 

One supporter agreed that the woman had spent an excessive time being naked in public 

However, some people were supportive and agreed that they don't like public nudity
