How to copy Queen Letizia's UK wardrobe
She is known to have an eye for a bargain, often favouring high-street purchases over extravagant designer pieces.
But when Queen Letizia of Spain embarked on a three-day state visit to the UK this week, it seems the glamorous royal saw fit to pull out all the stops.
Evidently keen to make an impression, Letizia, 44, swapped her recycled Zara favourites for a series of show-stopping bespoke gowns, estimated to have cost upwards of £5,000 and which have won her plaudits from the likes of fashion bible Vogue who declared her a 'figurehead for royal dressing'.
Flanked by husband Felipe, she descended on the UK in typically glamorous style on Wednesday, wearing a sleek white Hugo Boss ensemble, and topped off her trip with a ballerina-style wrap top and pink Topshop s kirt.
Queen Letizia pulled out all the stops for her UK state visit this week (seen here in a dazzling tiara and a one-shoulder gown in midnight blue, estimated at around £1,300)
But while Letizia might have spent upwards of £9,000 on her wardrobe - not including accessories - fashion fans hoping to emulate her look don't have to dig as deep, as Femail has rounded up the biggest bargains on the high street that will let you steal her style for a fraction of the price.
Tuesday 11th July: Welcome to England Â

The Spanish royal landed in style in a £284 Hugo Boss ensemble but this Adrianna Papell fit and flare dress (right) is less than a quarter of the price at £48
Letizia, 44, travelled in style in this Hugo Boss Ileti Ponte Top (around £125) and matching Valeti skirt (£159), a favourite outfit of the glamorous royal costing a total of £284 before accessories.
While she and husband Felipe may have been greeted with a British downpour, the sleek ensemble was perfect for a laid-back travelling look.
But if you don't want to splash out on designer wares, you can get the look for less by snapping up this Adrianna Papell fit and flare dress, currently down from £120 to £48 in the House of Fraser sale.Â
Wednesday 14th July: Ceremonial WelcomeÂ
Letizia's look:  £1,200 (estimated)
Cut-price copy: £33Â
The royal's vibrant yellow ensemble is believed to be a custom piece by Felipe Varela costing in the region of £1,200 (left) but JD Williams have a much more purse-friendly £33 version (right)
Royal watchers noted that Letizia appeared to be channelling the Duchess of Cambridge in this lemon-hued longline coat, paired with a Guipere lace dress and flower-festooned headpiece.
The vibrant ensemble, believed to be the work of her go-to designer Felipe Varela, was the perfect choice for the show-stopping Ceremonial Welcome on Horse Guards Parade which was followed by lunch at Buckingham Palace with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.
It will have cost in the region of £1,200 - but if you don't have deep pockets, a similar version by Together is currently just £33 from JD Williams.
Tea at Clarence House; visit to the Palace of Westminster
Letizia's look: £950

Red alert! The glamorous royal wore a head-turning £950 Burberry dress for tea at Clarence House (left) but royal-watchers might be better off with this £80 Gina Bacconi number (right)
Regal in red, Letizia turned to a quintessentially British label for her trip to Clarence House and Parliament.
Given that her tour wardrobe will have been painstakingly planned months in advance, Letizia is likely to have paid full-price for the Burberry buckle detail satin back crepe trench dress.Â
Now down from £950 to £475 in the sale, its price tag is nevertheless out of reach for most non-royals, so Letizia devotees may want to snap up this crimson Gina Bacconi number instead, currently half price at £80 in the House of Fraser sale.

The British royals rolled out the red carpet for their Spanish guests on Wednesday, treating them to the full pomp and pageantry traditionally rolled out for visiting heads of state.Â
Royal-watchers were keen to see whether Letizia would manage to steal the limelight from the Duchess of Cambridge, and she did just that in a floor-sweeping gown in her country's national colour, festooned with intricate beading detail.
Guests at the Spanish state banquet dined on medallion of Scottish beef and truffles in a Madeira sauce as they gathered in the opulently decorated ballroom - and the Duchess' dusky pink Marchesa gown was left in the shade.
The show-stopping crimson gown is believed to be another Felipe Valera creation, estimated at up to £3,000 - but a range of high street brands are currently selling copies like this Bardot frill fishtail maxi, down from £54.99 to £36.99 at Quiz.

The Topshop piece is £80, bringing the overall outfit to an estimated £120. While it's not as eye-wateringly expensive as some of Letizia's previous ensembles, a cheaper alternative is Bohoo's scuba box pleat midi skirt, a bargainous £15.
