- Reporter talking to policeman about crackdown on beggars when shouts heard
- Camera panned around to show performer in silver suit squaring up to bald manÂ
- BBC East Midlands reporter cut off interview and told viewers, 'I do apologise'
This is the bizarre moment a mime artist wearing a silver suit and pink feather hat broke his silence to scream 'go away, f*** off' at a heckler live on BBC news.
Reporter Amy Harris was mid-way through a report about a crackdown on beggars in Leicester when expletive-laden shouts were heard from nearby.
The camera panned around to show the performer yelling at a bald man in a black t-shirt as a policewoman kept them apart.

The BBC East Midlands reporter, who was interviewing a community support officer, quickly apologised and cut off the interview.
She said:Â 'Ok, thank you very much. I do apologise for the noise in the background but there will be much more on this story.'
The angry performer continued screaming 'go away, f*** off' as the news segment returned to the studio.Â
The anchor also apologised, saying: 'Apologies again for any bad language you may have heard in that live report from Leicester.'Â
