Princess Charlotte performs her first curtsy in Poland

She may only be two-years-old but Princess Charlotte is already proving to be a pro at royal duties.

The little Princess was seen performing an adorable curtsy as she said goodbye in Warsaw yesterday morning with her mother the Duchess of Cambridge.

It appeared that Kate, 35, may have reminded her daughter to say thank you before they boarded the plane and the youngster did a mini bob - her first public curtsy on royal duties.

The toddler also showed off her impeccable manners when the family landed in Berlin when she politely shook hands with British defence attaché Brigadier Rob Rider.

Charlotte has also been practicing her royal wave, happily greeting the waiting cameras on the family's official visit to Po land and Germany, while her big brother George has remained much more reticent.

The young Prince was looking a little grumpy yesterday as the family disembarked in Berlin.

Three-year-old George looked in need of a nap, as he rubbed his eyes sleepily and fidgeted as his father Prince William spoke to the welcoming committee.

Meanwhile, happy-go-lucky Charlotte was given her own mini spray of flowers by German gov rep Till Knorn to match a bouquet presented to her mother.

The Princess seemed pleased with her flowers and even gave the posy a discerning sniff.

Charlotte isn't the only one who has been making a big impression on the five-day tour of Germany and Poland.

Yesterday, the Duchess of Cambridge was mobbed by excited children on a visit to the Strasskinder charity in Berlin, which assists youngsters from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Kate, 35, was eager to dole out hugs and high fives, and the German press has now dubbed her the new 'Princess of Hearts', saying the scenes were 'reminiscent of the warmth of heart which before Kate only William's mother, Diana, could radiate.'
