A British backpacker living it up in Sydney is pleading for help after a bad haircut left her with chunks of hair missing.
The woman, who wanted to remain anonymous, told Daily Mail Australia she has appealed to social media for help after what was supposed to be an affordable trim turned into a nightmare.
The 21-year-old who has been in Sydney for about a month said she followed the recommendation of others at her hostel and booked an appointment with a barber who used to cut women's hair and was also staying there.

'He is an amazing barber and apparently used to cut women's hair... so I trusted him to do just a trim and he did this?' she said.
'I'm so shocked as it takes ages for my hair to grow and now I'm going to have to get more cut off to get it fixed!' she told Daily Mail Australia.
The 21-year-old said it looked like the barber had cut off two to three inches of hair in some areas.
She said she paid him $30, which the barber later gave back when confronted by her friend.
'I'm not confrontational at all so my friend helped me talk to him and got my money back so I can get it properly fixed.'
'He gave me my money back but still couldn't really see the issue which was crazy.'
The backpacker took to Facebook to ask for help fixing the botched haircut.
'Does anyone know any good/reliable hairdressers? I got my hair cut an they did this! Help me,' she wrote.Â
The 21-year-old said she has received a few offers from other hairdressers and will hopefully find someone soon.
