Tony Ross imagines Disney princesses as they age

Everybody knows that princesses live happily ever after - but now a photographer has imagined what that would actually look like in a series of stunning portraits.

Tony Ross, a photographer from Los Angeles, created images of real-life princesses including Cinderella, Mulan and Belle before 'transforming' them into older versions of themselves.

In fact, Mr Ross achieved the effect by using mothers and their daughters to make the 'ageing' process authentic.

Tony said: 'The shoot was absolutely fantastic. Meeting all these amazing people and being able to travel to all these places with the grand purpose of telling this story was such a joy to me.

'Everybody was so excited to be a part of the images and were very excited to see the final results.'

Tony Ross, a photographer from Los Angeles, has imagined what happily ever after looks like in a series of photos that 'age' Disney princesses. Here, model Bethanie Garcia poses outside the Salt Lake City Capitol building in Utah as Belle, from Beauty And The Beast

While everyone knows that fairy stories end with happily ever after, we usually don't get to see that part of the story - until Mr Ross decided to create these photos. Here model Bonnie is imagined as an older version of Snow White
