Burglars smash into foster mother's Hertfordshire home
This is the moment masked burglars smashed their way into the home of a mother who has fostered more than 50 children before escaping with £4,000 worth of goods. Â
A shameless pair targeted the well-known woman's property in broad daylight while she was on holiday in Cyprus celebrating her daughter's wedding.
The twisted thieves who covered their faces and wore gloves, used a screwdriver to force open a window before making off with the loot.Â

The retired PA, who has previously fostered more than 50 children, was too devastated to talk about what happened
Mary Holland, 60, arrived home  from her trip away to a scene of devastation.
The retired PA, who has previously fostered more than 50 children, was too devastated to talk about what happened.
But her daughter Tracey Poole, 40, said: 'She is in bits. They have secured the house but it is still horrible.
'She is scared to go out. She is breaking down crying all the time. This has literally destroyed her.'
The break in happened at the property Mary shares with her husband Mick in Meldreth, Hertfordshire, at around 6.45pm on July 13.
The first glimpse of the suspected thieves is when they are caught on CCTV driving past the property in a Mercedes B Class.

The number plate was not clear from the footage.
A couple of minutes later the suspects can be seen on footage captured from outside the couple's home approaching the house.
They force open one of the front windows and quickly enter.
Mrs Poole said they were inside for seven minutes before a neighbour went round, thinking someone was at home.
When he didn't get an answer he heard the pair jumping over the fence and into his garden.
The thieves later fled the scene and have not been seen since.
The neighbours phoned Mr and Mrs Holland who flew home three days early to f ind their home destroyed.
Mrs Poole thinks it may have been a targeted theft as the thieves went straight for a filing cabinet where the valuables were kept.
She also revealed they stole £900 of pocket money that Mary had been keeping for her six grandchildren the keys to her £25,000 BMW 116.
Mrs Poole, of Royston, Hertforshire, hopes that by releasing the footage, the offenders will be caught.
