Its enriching nutrients have long been one of the cosmetics industryâs best kept secrets - until now.
A natural cleanser, Kalahari melon seed oil contains linolenic acid which can help unclog pores and remove excess sebum on the surface of the skin.
The miracle oil also contains antioxidants and vitamins A, C and E help to hydrate and tighten skin, making it appear firmer and reducing the appearance of wrinkles, while also reducing skin inflammation, su ch as acne.
The oil has even been tipped as an effective conditioner for the hair and scalp without leaving your tresses greasy.
And as the wonder-product gains in popularity, experts believe it will be flying off shelves as temperatures soar this summer, leaving hair and skin dehydrated while air conditioning and chlorine from the swimming pool can also leave tresses feeling dry.
