Oligarch flies in Lady Gaga for Lolita Osmanova's wedding

When the scions of two of Russia's wealthiest families get hitched, no expense is spared. 

And the LA nuptials of Lolita Osmanova, the daughter of energy tycoon Eldar Osmanov, and millionaire Albert Avdolyan's son Gaspar did not disappoint, with a rumoured $10million splashed on celebrity entertainment, rows of classical violinists and thousands of candles and fresh flowers.

The couple chose Hollywood's iconic Dolby Theatre - home of the Oscars - as their venue, and the after-ceremony entertainment was provided by none other than Grammy award-winning megastar Lady Gaga. 

Up to $500,000 is believed to have been spent on flowers alone for the lavish ceremony, and Russian newspaper reports said anyone hoping to top the nuptials of two of its most g lamorous young exports would have to hold their ceremony in space.

Lolita, believed to be 22, is understood to have worn a bespoke off-the-shoulder gown by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad for the ceremony, which featured extravagant beading and jewels in a beautiful floral pattern. 

The train and veil trailed behind her as she walked down the gold aisle, which was flanked by romantic displays of white roses. 

The bride slipped out of the opulent bridal gown and into a sleek, 1940s inspired frock before cutting the towering 10-tier cake with her husband.

The second figure-hugging white dress featured feathered detailing, and was accessorised with a delicate sparkling headband.

Gaspar Avdolyan 

Gaspar is the son of Russian-Armenian telecommunications businessman Albert Avdolyan and his wife, Elena.

In October 2009 Albert founded Expatel, one of the Russian leaders in Mobile WiMAX (4G) Internet technology. He is also a major shareholder in broadband provider and smartphone manufacturer Yota. The father-of-four was ranked among the wealthiest businessmen in Russia by Forbes in 2013. Reports suggest he has a net worth of $750million (£580million).

In 2011 the Avdolyans reportedly bought a $18million mansion in Beverly Park, California, from Real Housewives of Beverley Hills star Lisa Vanderpump. 

The followin g year, the palatial property caught fire during construction work and the Avdolyans later rebuilt the home from the ground up. It is now thought to be worth some $30million. 

The family also own another property in nearby Beverly Hills, which is thought to be worth $13million.

Lolita Osmanova 

Lolita Osmanova is the daughter of Eldar Osmanov, who is understood to be a major player in the Russian energy industry. He is believed to be the owner of the energy sales holding Mezhregionsoyenergo.

Lolita has more than 18,000 followers on Instagram, where she entertains fans with photographs of her glamorous lifestyle. 

The graduate recently jetted off to Las Vegas on her hen do, where she stayed in a luxury hotel suite with a handful of her closest friends. Photographs also su ggest she has starred in fashion photo shoots and has been flown out to international events. 

Lolita, who recently graduated from Moscow's prestigious Institute of International Relations, beamed as she posed for photographs with her dashing groom. 

The lavish nuptials came after she enjoyed a hen do with a handful of her closest friends in Las Vegas, which saw the group jet off to the venue in a private plane. 

Pop star Jason Derulo entertained guests with his hit songs while reports suggest a symphony orchestra and a ballet troupe were also flown in for the day.

The bill for the glittering list of performers is thought to be $2million, according to Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda (KP).

Russian showbiz icons Svetlana Loboda, Nikolai Baskov and Stas Mikhailov were on the gu est list.

Moscow TV presenters Andrey Malakhov and Kseniya Sobchak - who has known Vladimir Putin since her childhood, after her father Anatoly gave him his break into politics - were the comperes.

Couture jeweller Loren Rodkin wrote on Instagram: 'I'm in Russia or Armenia or in an episode of Armenia's Got Talent?...I can't tell. Wedding at the Dolby theater.'

KP compared it to last year's epic two venue wedding of billionaire's son Said Gutseriev, 28, and student Khadija Uzhakhovs, 20, which featured Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias in Moscow before the jet-setting couple and guests moved to London to be serenaded by Sir Elton John and Beyonce.

Other accounts suggested the latest lavish Russian wedding in Hollywood cost around $10 million.

The newspaper cooed of Lolita's party: 'The wedding did look luxurious. On the stairs, decorated with huge [floral] compositions, guests were greeted by violinists who performed classical music.
