Sex offenders escape South Gloucestershire open prison
- Christopher Addison, 37, and Scott Noon, 41, escaped yesterday afternoon
- They were serving sentences for sexual assault, rape and grievous bodily harm
- Anyone who sees them should call police on 101 quoting reference 5217172019
A manhunt is underway after a convicted rapist and a sex offender escaped from an open prison.
Christopher Addison, 37, and Scott Noon, 41, absconded from HMP Leyhill in South Gloucestershire at 5.45pm yesterday.
Addison, who has links to Teesside, was put behind bars for sexual assault. Noon, who has links to South Yorkshire, was jailed for rape and grievous bodily harm.

The two men are serving indeterminate sentences, which mean there is no set date for their release.
Addison is white, 5ft 10ins, thin, and clean-shaven, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has 'MAM' tattooed on his upper right arm.
Noon is also white 5ft 8ins, of medium build, with brown hair, a moustache and blue eyes.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: 'Anyone who sees either man is asked to call 999 and provide the call handler with the reference 5217172019.
'If you have any information as to their whereabouts, call us on 101 and quote the same number.'
