Hutan Kota Jompie di Kelurahan Bukit Indah, Kecamatan Soreang, Kota Parepare, Sulawesi Selatan, akan diubah menjadi Kebun Raya Jompie. Nantinya kebun raya ini akan menjadi tempat untuk penelitian dan konservasi lingkungan. Ingin menyamai kebun raya di Bogor Jawa Barat, pembangunan hutan kota jompi seluas 13,5 hektar yang terletak di Kelurahan Bukit Indah, Kecamatan Soreang, Kota Parepare, Sulawesi Selatan, ini terus dipantau oleh pemerintah. Pembangunan hutan raya menjadi Kebun Raya Jompie dinilai mampu memberikan warna baru bagi warga sekitar untuk bisa belajar mengenai alam.
